It had been a few days since the party at Semele's, which of course meant it had been a few days for Darrow to see that Krem's life had gone sideways in the worst kind of ways. Still, he was well aware that dwelling on his anxieties wasn't going to solve anything. After he'd discovered Aggie's disappearance, he'd been vocal in his protest against the statements that those that had disappeared had just, like so many others, returned home. The whole mess of it stank. And he'd dealt with enough corrupt situations to know the stink of it when he encountered it. But tonight wasn't about that. He'd done everything that he could for now. And for now, all he could do was wait and hope.

So he'd let Thomas know that he had an evening and day off in a row--a rare occurrence for him, and he planned to spend the day tomorrow filled with looking for Aggie again; but that could wait until after Thomas headed home. He knew that Thomas worked, but he let him know that the doors was open, that he was welcome to let himself in when he got here. He wasn't entirely sure when Thomas got off of work, supposing it probably depended on any number of things, but it wasn't as if Krem was likely to fall asleep.

He did wonder if he ought to put anything out in anticipation or presumption of the rest of the evening, but somehow that seemed to be asking a little too much. At this point, he'd just be glad to have Thomas there. More than ever, the quiet of the apartment was getting to him, and it would be good to have someone else there, even if just for the night, someone to be some sort of reassurance that things would be alright.

He curled up in the corner of the couch and waited, a book in his lap that he was only sort of reading.

"Stop kissing me, you're not allowed," Thomas said though he didn't sound serious and he couldn't help but smile. He didn't want Krem to hurt himself on account of him but he couldn't help but pleased by the contact.

He glanced over at the computer again. "A couple, huh? Been doing research without me?"

Krem smiled and slanted his mouth a little, so just the half furthest from the piercing touched Thomas's lips. That felt far sillier than just kissing him, if he was honest.

"I couldn't rely on my imagination for everything," he murmured bashfully.

It was easier, then, to open the computer and navigate to where he had the videos saved. There was only a handful of them--not just with men like him, with all sorts of people, but he pulled up one that he'd found earliest.

Still feeling a little embarrassed, Krem shifted on the bed as the video started with the two young men introducing themselves and talking so candidly about what they liked sexually. He normally skipped all this, but for now he gently adjusted himself and Thomas so they could sit against the top of the bed and put the computer on the blanket in front of them.

Thomas was probably watching this with far too much concentration. It was just that he'd never seen a movie like this before and he wasn't sure what to expect. He didn't know if it would be like one of the normal movies he'd seen or if there'd be differences.

So, he leaned forward, brow furrowed while he chewed on his lower lip. It seemed pretty run of the mill right now though he couldn't stop the blush from rising on his cheeks.

He glanced at Krem briefly before his eyes went back to the movie and what was happening on the screen.

More than the movie, Krem watched Thomas. He watched his scrutiny and curiosity, the faint blush on his cheeks and the way he leaned in toward the computer a little bit. Krem wanted to pull him back gently so he could rest against him, but more than that, he wanted Thomas to be able to be comfortable with this. If he needed to lean in and thoroughly absorb the entirety of the film, who was Krem to stop him?

The film shifted from the two young men talking to them kissing and touching each other, stripping out of their clothes, and Krem was back to his bashfulness. He'd liked the film initially, the first time he'd watched it, because both of the actors in it smiled a lot, they seemed to enjoy each other, they were friendly and gentle and kind; they were also pretty, their bodies just a little soft, the young transgender man still built with his breasts and a bit of curve to his body. Now, with someone else beside him, all those things seemed shallow and silly.

He curled his knees up to his chest and watched Thomas quietly instead of the movie.

"They got friendly fast," Thomas said and then immediately winced. What a dumb thing to say. What a shucking dumb thing to say. "Wow, I'm an idiot."

He laughed though and glanced at Krem, finding Krem watching him. The blush on his cheeks deepened and he looked down before looking back up at Krem through his eyelashes.

"You're watching me," he murmured, turning back to the movie and tilting his head. "I'm not as good as this movie, I'm sure."

Krem laughed, the tension that had been building in his chest breaking softly. He shifted a little bit, moving closer to Thomas, curling against his shoulder gently.

He ran his fingers gently along his arms, glancing at the screen as the actors moved through a gambit of things that, at least, he and Thomas had already accomplished. They'd learned touching each other already, though watching it from an outside perspective was an interesting one.

"I've already seen it," Krem reminded Thomas softly. He nuzzled behind his ear gently, running his hands down to Thomas's, twining their fingers gently. "I was seeing how you thought of it."

"It's -- it's good," Thomas said and found that he meant that. He gave Krem's fingers a squeeze, eyes dancing back to the screen where things were getting much, much more intense than they had been previously.

Thomas licked his lips and couldn't stop himself from shivering at the nuzzling and the touch. He bit his lip.

"I could never do something like this," he said before realizing how that sounded. "What I mean is I couldn't...be with someone and have it filmed. I'd never manage to stop blushing. I can -- I can watch though."

"I don't think I could either," Krem said truthfully. There was a part of him that had no qualms about letting someone see him in such a vulnerable position, but that was different.

Krem slid one of his hands to Thomas's thigh, still only touching. He split his attention more evenly now between Thomas and the movie, where things were starting to ramp up beyond simple touch. It was still things they'd done to each other, though things were progressing quickly toward the inevitable next step.

"You know," Krem said softly, "we don't have to do anything different than what we have already? I like what we do. The kissing and touching we do. It's good."

"I know," Thomas murmured, looking over at Krem again. He smiled and covered Krem's hand with his own, curling his fingers and squeezing. He kept his hand there, letting Krem touch him but taking enjoyment at being able to feel where he touched, how firm he pressed, and how it made him shiver.

"But I want to know how to do other things too," Thomas told him soundly. "Maybe I won't be any good or I'll be nervous to try immediately but I want to know and I want to -- want to at least see what we can do together."

Krem hummed, soft and tuneless, as he leaned even closer to Thomas, a gentle pressure against his arm. He kissed the curve of his jaw, right where it bent and smoothed into his neck. He slid his hand slowly up the inside of Thomas's thigh, heavy and warm, until his fingers were warm and still against Thomas's crotch.

"I like the things you do," Krem said softly. "I trust you. It will be good."

"You're biased," Thomas mumbled, letting his eyes flutter closed and his breath come out in a quick exhale. His hips juddered slightly, moving closer to Krem's hand involuntarily.

"And you're distracting," he said, laughing and turning his head slightly towards Krem. "Trying to take my mind off this movie or something, shank?"

"I think my bias is sort of the whole point here," Krem said mildly, but it was truthful. When it got down to it, it didn't matter if Thomas lived up to some expectation he constructed for himself. It mattered if he was happy, if he was comfortable, if they enjoyed their time and company together. That was what Krem wanted most.

He smiled when Thomas looked at him, his palm moving slowly and gently over the front of Thomas's jeans. Somehow this felt more easy than anything else--they'd done this, he sort of knew what Thomas liked about this now--but just as embarrassing, with the movie still going on.

"I'm not stopping you watching it," he said softly, lips still close to Thomas's skin.

He glanced over to the screen, just in time to see that the two men had just started to fuck. The trans man, sprawled out on his back with his legs curled up and taking it, let out a rapturous noise, and Krem flushed darkly, watching for a moment as he kept touching Thomas through the fabric of his jeans.

Thomas exhaled again, trying valiantly to keep his eyes on the movie but failing when Krem was that close and had his hand on the front of his jeans. He shifted slightly, trying to get some more friction happening there without being too overt about it.

"It's hard to watch a movie when you're touching me and kissing me," Thomas pointed out, licking his lips and peering over at the television. His eyes widened at the sight that greeted him and he made a little sound in the back of his throat.

"Do you want me to stop?" Krem asked softly. He didn't though, not yet. The soft noise that Thomas made, from the touch and the sight on the screen, just made Krem want to keep touching him. It made him want to do more than touch, really.

"I'm not nearly that flexible," Krem said, laughing softly against Thomas's shoulder. He had plenty of flexibility, but he didn't think he could bend his legs up the way that he'd seen in half the pornographic videos he'd seen, clearly done to show off angles rather than for the actual sex acts. But he hoped the sort of playful tone would diffuse any nerves Thomas might have about watching and being touched at the same time.

"I didn't say that," Thomas told him, glancing over and shaking his head. "No, I don't want you to stop. I just want you to know you're distracting."

He smiled and leaned forward, trying to catch Krem's lips with his. Even without being able to see the screen, he could still hear what was going on and that was affecting. His cheeks and neck were going to be permanently red, he guessed, and there were goosebumps popping up on his arms and shoulders now.

Krem sighed softly into the kiss. It was nice, as kissing Thomas always was, and maybe more so for knowing the effect he had on Thomas. The background noises of the movie became nothing more than vague things he could filter out; he focused on Thomas's mouth, his warm body, the shape of him against Krem's palm.

He eased Thomas's jeans open, slipping his hand inside to touch Thomas's cock. He didn't break the kiss, not just yet, even opening his mouth just a little bit so it could go deeper. It felt different with the piercing on his lip, but still good.

Thomas's head was a mess of fuzz and, if he'd been thinking clearer, he might have pulled away, stopped from possibly irritating Krem's piercing but then Krem sneaked a hand down his pants and he forgot everything but his name and Krem's touch.

He lurched closer, deepening the kiss as much as he could in their current positions. His hips wanted to move, to surge forward and ask for more pressure but he managed to keep at least one thing in control.

Gently, making sure it wasn't too close to the edge, Krem pushed the computer away from them. They were already near the top of the bed, so there wasn't much to do in the way of adjusting side by side, but Krem was very suddenly more than aware of the ways they could be closer.

"Can I...?" He took his hand off Thomas a moment so he could use both hands to curl gently at the hem of Thomas's shirt, lifting it gently off his stomach. He didn't quite pull it up, though his skin was hot with the desire to.

"What?" Thomas asked, sounding a little dazed. He blinked and glanced down, finally noticing what Krem was asking and he hurriedly nodded his head.

"Yeah," he murmured, sliding back slightly so he could move his arms around, give Krem some space to slide his shirt off. "Yeah, go ahead."

Krem huffed a soft laugh, pulling Thomas's shirt off over his head after he'd pulled back a bit, and then pulling off his own and the binder with it as well. When they were both shirtless, he scooted in close again, this time sliding himself more on top of Thomas than just against his side.

He was definitely being a distraction now, and he knew it. It was entirely possible he could help himself; he just didn't want to. The prospect of being close, and feeling Thomas's skin against his, was too tempting. He wanted that more than he wanted to sit by and watch the video alongside him.

Still, just yet, he didn't try to strip either of them down any further. He went back to kissing again, wrapping his arms around Thomas's neck and pressing in close as he let out a soft, happy moan.

The movie was pretty much forgotten as soon as Krem climbed atop him, putting his face and his skin in Thomas's view instead of a movie. This was better anyway. The movie hadn't been bad but this was better, this was something that Thomas could touch and shiver against and sigh about.

He slung his arms around Krem's waist, trying to drag him closer without jostling the kiss too much. He shifted himself down the bed some, trying to invite Krem closer or more on top of him or whatever he really wanted.

The way they shifted, the subtle ways their bodies moved together, heightened the heat under Krem's skin. Thomas was so close and so warm, his arms gentle and strong and pulling him in, and Krem was happy to get as close as he could. He wanted more, almost desperately, but he was as nervous as Thomas sometimes, if in different ways. But he trusted Thomas, maybe more than almost anyone right now.

He slid his hands down slowly, lifting them off of Thomas's body so he could ease out of his jeans with a haste that told of his arousal but that he hoped wouldn't come off as desperation. He left his shorts on, for now.

He straddled Thomas's lap again once he'd stripped down that far, rocking his hips against Thomas as he nuzzled in against his neck.

Up until now, Thomas had been relatively quiet. He'd let soft exhalations escape from his lips, let himself make sounds in the back of his throat but then there was Krem, taking off his pants and rocking down against him and he couldn't contain a moan.

He almost looked shy about it, surprised, but he didn't look ashamed. He licked his lip, watching Krem with bright eyes. He let his hands settle on his thighs, stroking up and down gently while he watched and breathed.

They were, Krem thought, reaching a tipping point. He could pull back from this, just a little. He could settle for everything they had done and could continue to do until one or the other of them built up the courage again to be this bold. There would be no shame in reaching down between their bodies and using his hand to bring Thomas off, he knew that.

He leaned, just a little, to reach the bedside table and pull a condom out of the drawer. It was such a simple thing, really, but the knowledge of what the gesture meant seemed huge. When he returned to center, he pressed the little foil package gently against one of Thomas's palms.

"...we don't have to." It went without saying, really. But so much had changed in the months they'd known each other. So much had changed from that first time they'd danced on the beach, or gone swimming, or when he'd kissed Thomas in his kitchen. "But if you'd want to, we can."

Thomas's head was fuzzy and muddled with pleasure and sensation. All he could feel were the warm spots where Krem's body touched his, the feel of Krem's breath against Thomas's cheeks and the tightness in his pants that was only increasing the more they did.

When he opened his eyes and blinked down at what Krem had put in his hand, his hips lurched a little, bright excitement in his eyes. Control was something he didn't always have a lot of.

"I -- " He swallowed. "I've never -- before. Is that all right? I want to but I've never."

He swallowed thickly, fingers closing around the foil wrapper while he looked up at Krem for assurances or at least understanding.
