Krem made sure that he had enough time to get home and shower before Adaline would be coming over. He didn't know, really, if she would be baking bread at his place as well, but he wanted to at least have enough time for that. "I've a cake to finish for you."

She takes his hand, lets him draw her to her feet.

"And am I eating it naked?" she teases. "I can. I don't mind. If you're enjoying the view." She lifts an eyebrow, definitely smirking then.

"I am enjoying the view," Krem said, letting his eyes rake over her appreciatively and smiling to meet her smirk. "But I'll leave that up to you. I've no plans to put anything on, frankly."

He leaned up and kissed her, sweetly, giving her side a squeeze before he trailed out of the bedroom and left her with the decision of whether or not she'd put any of her clothes back on or not.

"You're wearing slightly more than I am," points out Adaline, watching his ass in his briefs as he walks away from her. She lies on the bed for another moment, her blonde hair tousled across the pillow. Eventually, though, she does push up off the bed. She has a gauzy scarf in her purse; she slips it around her hips like a sarong which doesn't hide things so much as obscure.

"That cake smells incredible," she says, stepping out into the lounge, stretching bare arms up over her head.

In the kitchen, he was finishing dressing the cake. It was always a bit of a rustic looking thing, and now was no different. He didn't try and make it something it wasn't. He finished dressing the cake and sliced it into equal portions, bringing her a plate with slice and fork. "Coffee or tea? More wine? I should check the lamb, probably."

"We're eating in reverse," she says, teasing as she slides into a chair at the table. "More wine I think, please." She picks up her fork and takes a bite of the cake. Her eyelashes flutter. "If I hadn't already let you see me naked, I definitely would now."

He smiled and grabbed the bottle of wine and their half discarded wine glasses, as well as his own plate and fork, coming to the table as well to join her. He poured her a glass of wine and sat, pouring his own.

"Are you really complaining about doing this in reverse?"

Once he was settled, Adaline lifts long bare legs and slides her feet in his lap while she eats her cake.

"I'm not complaining about anything," she says, her mouth quirking into a smirk as she reaches for her wineglass. "Would I?"

With one hand busy digging into his cake, he dropped the other to her foot, rubbing gently but with a presence that he hoped wouldn't tickle her. He wasn't particularly familiar with rubbing feet, and definitely not one handed. But he could try his best.

"You certainly don't seem like you have much room to complain at this point. Cake and wine and all that."

She'd really only slid her feet in his lap to maintain that sense of contact but she's not going to complain when he starts rubbing her feet with strong fingers.

"Cake. Wine. Company." She smiles. "Nothing to complain about."

"Always good to know my company's acceptable enough to pass muster," Krem said with a laugh, setting down his fork to pick up his wine glass and take a sip. He smirked around the edge, sliding his hand slowly up Adaline's foot to her ankle, her calve, than back down again.

"Perfectly acceptable so far," she says, enjoying a pleasurable little shiver as his hand slides over her skin. "The cake is definitely helping." She laughs a little, her hair slipping forward to curtain the curve of one bare breast.

"I'm sure my mother would be proud to know her recipe is being well received," Krem said with a lazy sort of smile. He left his hand, casually, on top of Adaline's shin, and focused almost entirely on his slice of cake and glass of wine. As if he were entranced by the way her hair skated across her skin and against her nipple like that.

"Definitely had my compliments," she says, chewing another bite of her cake, enjoying the zest of it on her tongue. She caught her hair back and combed it with her fingers, gathering the whole fall of it over one shoulder. It does very little to disguise her nakedness.

He was sure he ought to get up, check the lamb again, make some effort to finish the dinner that he had invited her over to have. It would be the proper thing to do, the polite thing. He blushes; Adaline notices it when she looks up. One eyebrow raises and she sets down her fork, and lifts her wine, smiling a little against the edge of the glass. It really is delicious; she catches herself wondering what it might taste like splashed on skin.
