"Yeah, guess you're right," Thomas said, sounding like he was elsewhere for the moment. Krem's words reminded him that he'd been here a long time. Longer than he could remember being anywhere else. His time in the Scorch was torturous but short. His time in the Maze even shorter. Before that? It was all a blank spot.
