"I'm a furnace?" Thomas asked, reaching to feel his own skin. The night was warm but standing in the cool water meant he didn't feel all too hot. Warm yes but he wasn't sweating or uncomfortable, something he was grateful for.
If it got too hot, he sometimes thought he was back home in the first stages of the sun about to explode and burn the entire world.
