It sounded terribly unpleasant and Biffy was set with the sudden and uncomfortable reminder that he had forgotten how terribly long it took to heal on mortal bodies. Broken bones would have taken mere hours for Biffy to heal on a slow night. It was why one of the only definitive ways to end an Alpha challenge was a bitten eye, which took a full day to heal.
