Thomas arched an eyebrow and shook his head. He didn't think he'd made a fuss but maybe he had and he hadn't realized it. He thought he'd just been concerned. It wasn't every day someone came to his door that early in the morning all beat up. He'd thought they were back in some horrible version of this city for a second or two.

Thomas didn't get a chance to say anything though before Krem pulled him down for the kiss. Thomas wasn't that hard pressed to argue that he'd break away either so he stored it up, saved it for another time and pressed Krem into the mattress as best he could with his slight weight and lean frame.
