Krem kept gently laughing at Thomas's continued attempts to cool his mouth down. Except for the rice, there probably wasn't much that would do anything for it. He couldn't even jokingly suggest a kiss to make it better, since he'd also ate some of the spicy dish, so now his mouth was spicy as well.

Instead, he tucked the spicy box off to one side, and tried another one. "Here, this one's not spicy."

He speared some meat and vegetables on his fork, holding it up for Thomas to sample as he curled into his side contentedly.
